I don’t even know where to start. From the moment these two amazing people walked up to me, I felt like I had known them forever. We had so much fun exploring downtown and their love really shines through in their entire gallery. They came from New Orleans to have their pictures made and I really loved getting to know them better.
Read MoreRather than write you a really long intro about Kimberly and Ryan, I want to share what she told me on her questionnaire when I asked her ‘What do you want to remember about this season of life?’ She did give me permission to share this and I think it’s just about the most precious answer ever. After spending a little time with them (they drove from Wisconsin for this session!) it was very clear to me that she didn’t exaggerate a single word.
Read MoreStacy & Nick came to see me all the way from Mississippi. They both had quiet, gentle souls and were so kind. Sometimes with couples you can just feel their love. These two had a full aura of love surrounding them.
Read MoreAntoinette and Dee traveled to see me from Alabama! Let me tell you, this session was SO easy. Two people in love make a session a breeze. I really didn’t have to offer a lot of suggestions because they couldn’t let go of each other. I LOVE love.
Read MoreClint, Sara, Max and Duckie came to see me all the way from Indiana! They were just the sweetest little family. We hit some of the usual spots, took Max to cool off at the Passageway next to the Aquarium and Duckie (who’s a certified rescue dog!) even got to meet one of Chattanooga’s finest!
Read MoreJoseph came in to Chattanooga from Nashville for a short getaway from work. We meandered around Downtown and found some great spots. I think he was a complete natural in front of the camera!

I was so fortunate to shoot Kirby and Tristan’s wedding session on and around the Walnut Street Bridge so it only made sense to take the whole family there for their session! The perfect day, the most coordinated outfits, a beautiful couple and four of the sweetest boys made this entire session so easy. We got all of these and more in less than 20 minutes!
Sessions never need to be stressful, you just have to find a photographer who works FOR you and your family.
Read MoreSophia is my little cousin, but we don’t get to see each other very often. When she does come in for visits we always get to do a little session. She’s one of my most favorite tiny best friends and she always brings a sparkle for all of her sessions. It’s not just a sparkle, it’s a spark. A spark of imagination and of wonder, seeing the world through her eyes is such a wondrous experience.
Read MoreI was so tickled to shoot Isiah and Ripal’s elopement wedding on the terrace at the Hunter Art Museum. The wedding was officiated by Shaun Mosley of Elope Chattanooga. Ripal and her family are of the Hindu faith and there were several elements present in their ceremony. The couple exchanged rings and then placed beautiful floral malas around each other’s necks. After they touched the feet of Ripal’s mother and Isiah’s parents as a sign of respect. It was such a beautiful day, after the ceremony we walked down to the Walnut Street Bridge for more portraits.
Get ready for an overload of pictures. I couldn’t narrow it down. Here’s wishing them both a lifetime of happiness and love.
Read MoreI don’t even know where to begin telling you about Jackie. I have known her for most of my life. She’s my yoga instructor. She’s my friend and someone I look up to in so many ways. She’s beautiful and strong and her soul is made of gold. When she asked me to come to Southern Soul (where she teaches on Saturday mornings) for a sunrise session to use for her marketing, I immediately said yes. And let me be honest, there are very few people I would wake up that early for!
Read MoreSophia is my little baby cousin. Right now she’s living in Washington DC but she came in for a visit and a fun little Summer Session with me. Sophia is literally a ray of sunshine. Her energy is contagious. She was SO EXCITED about everything that she saw, it really made me stop and look at this city with new eyes. We started at the Walnut Street Bridge and made a loop. We walked from the bridge to the Tennessee Riverwalk, to the waterways around the aquarium, we pet a horse that pulls the carriages on Broad Street, and we made our way back to The Ice Cream Show.
