I was so tickled to shoot Isiah and Ripal’s elopement wedding on the terrace at the Hunter Art Museum. The wedding was officiated by Shaun Mosley of Elope Chattanooga. Ripal and her family are of the Hindu faith and there were several elements present in their ceremony. The couple exchanged rings and then placed beautiful floral malas around each other’s necks. After they touched the feet of Ripal’s mother and Isiah’s parents as a sign of respect. It was such a beautiful day, after the ceremony we walked down to the Walnut Street Bridge for more portraits.

Get ready for an overload of pictures. I couldn’t narrow it down. Here’s wishing them both a lifetime of happiness and love.

Hoback Family Summer 2019 Session in Jasper, TN on Courthouse Square

Dana and I had such a hard time nailing down the perfect date for these. You see, all three of her boys play baseball, so their schedules are extra tight! We finally had an opportunity to take them. The weather was great, the sunshine was golden, and it was an easy session.

Hancock Family Summer 2019 Tennessee Farm Session Jasper, TN

Every year I donate to the silent auction held locally at Sequatchie Valley Electric Co-operative. This year Shanda won the session. I always love meeting new people and Shanda, Tyler and Will were so much fun. We shot on their friend’s farm and it was absolutely beautiful. They even had a tiny baby goat at the end for Will to love on!!

ps: my day was 100% made when they brought out that kid, if you know me, I LOVE goats!!

Wrapping up 2018 and Ushering in 2019

This is what my year has been like. Extra busy and SO blessed. 163 sessions, plus four weddings, one promo video for a preschool and 10 Senior Rep Modeling sessions! I also shot the entire Kimball Soccer League in both the Spring and the Fall AND I taught two separate photography classes!! I was published twice and asked to speak on a panel in front of Girl Scouts. Here's a small sampling of some of my favorite images from this year, there's at least one from each session!! Can you spot yourself?

I don't even know where to start with expressing my gratitude. Clients, please just know that I love you all so much, and thank you, from the bottom of my heart for letting me wake up every day and live my dream!

Shannon came to see me with her mom and dad, and her grandmother. Such a fun and easy going family. She told me beforehand that not a single one of them was a fan of having their pictures made. Lawrence Family Fall Session

I love this sweet little family. This is my third year shooting their Fall Portraits. So I’ve gotten to grow right along with Walker. The very first thing I learned about him three years ago is that he will let me take amazing images of him, but on his terms, and I have to follow his lead. Which is fine by me, most kids his age are the same way. I have loved getting to know his parents too. Marc and Leigh are such genuinely kind people. Oh this sweet little family! Felicia, Shane and Natalie came to see me on a perfect day towards the end of our Fall colors here in Tennessee. I made sure to send Natalie home completely dirty and in need of a new pair of white tights! But I believe Felicia has forgiven me since then :)

Price Family Fall Mini Session

Hands down one of my most favorite families to shoot. They are all five so full of energy and optimism. If you’ve had the pleasure of meeting them, you’ll know I am right. The heat plus the mosquitoes (literally the size of your face) made the shoot a challenge but we still managed to get an awesome gallery together.
