Let me start with the first time I met Sierra. She came to me as a single mother of two boys for a family session. The next session we had was a family session last year after she literally met the love of her life, Alex who came with a boy and girl of his own. Our next time shooting was at their elopement at Greenway Farms when they combined their big blended family - it was literal magic. Two people in love with four small children. Another year, another Blessed Session. I absolutely love doing these. They are confidence boosters for the girls, I get to work with my best friend Lyndi and they are absolutely just a blast. I admire what Lyndi has built and I believe in her vision. Every time she asks me to do one I immediately whip out my calendar and get it scheduled.

We shot this session on May 29th, which in any other reality would be relatively warm, but we had a major cold front come through. It was windy and chilly. In between each shot we had to cover the kids back up. Despite the goosebumps, I think we got some really great images and it was a really fun session. I’ve known Sylvia for SO long, and seeing her with her children was so special.

We make sure to get new sessions as soon as possible, because her kids are just growing so fast. We shot these early in the morning at Little Cedar Mountain Trail. I think adventuring really helps to loosen kids up and we can really capture those perfect candid moments.

Robinson Wedding with Elope Chattanooga

I was so tickled to shoot Isiah and Ripal’s elopement wedding on the terrace at the Hunter Art Museum. The wedding was officiated by Shaun Mosley of Elope Chattanooga. Ripal and her family are of the Hindu faith and there were several elements present in their ceremony. The couple exchanged rings and then placed beautiful floral malas around each other’s necks. After they touched the feet of Ripal’s mother and Isiah’s parents as a sign of respect. It was such a beautiful day, after the ceremony we walked down to the Walnut Street Bridge for more portraits.

Get ready for an overload of pictures. I couldn’t narrow it down. Here’s wishing them both a lifetime of happiness and love.

I don’t even know where to begin telling you about Jackie. I have known her for most of my life. She’s my yoga instructor. She’s my friend and someone I look up to in so many ways.
