Kimberly & Ryan Anniversary Session June 2021 Downtown Chattanooga

Rather than write you a really long intro about Kimberly and Ryan, I want to share what she told me on her questionnaire when I asked her ‘What do you want to remember about this season of life?’ She did give me permission to share this and I think it’s just about the most precious answer ever. After spending a little time with them (they drove from Wisconsin for this session!) it was very clear to me that she didn’t exaggerate a single word.

Clint, Sara, Max & Duckie May 2021 Downtown Chattanooga

Clint, Sara, Max and Duckie came to see me all the way from Indiana! They were just the sweetest little family. We hit some of the usual spots, took Max to cool off at the Passageway next to the Aquarium and Duckie (who’s a certified rescue dog!) even got to meet one of Chattanooga’s finest!

Kirby Family Session March 2021

Kirby, Tristan, Ryan, Blaine, Sam and Treyton

I was so fortunate to shoot Kirby and Tristan’s wedding session on and around the Walnut Street Bridge so it only made sense to take the whole family there for their session! The perfect day, the most coordinated outfits, a beautiful couple and four of the sweetest boys made this entire session so easy. We got all of these and more in less than 20 minutes!

Sessions never need to be stressful, you just have to find a photographer who works FOR you and your family.

Robinson Wedding with Elope Chattanooga

I was so tickled to shoot Isiah and Ripal’s elopement wedding on the terrace at the Hunter Art Museum. The wedding was officiated by Shaun Mosley of Elope Chattanooga. Ripal and her family are of the Hindu faith and there were several elements present in their ceremony. The couple exchanged rings and then placed beautiful floral malas around each other’s necks. After they touched the feet of Ripal’s mother and Isiah’s parents as a sign of respect. It was such a beautiful day, after the ceremony we walked down to the Walnut Street Bridge for more portraits.

Get ready for an overload of pictures. I couldn’t narrow it down. Here’s wishing them both a lifetime of happiness and love.

Sophia Summer Session in Downtown Chattanooga July 2019

Sophia is my little baby cousin. Right now she’s living in Washington DC but she came in for a visit and a fun little Summer Session with me. Sophia is literally a ray of sunshine. Her energy is contagious. She was SO EXCITED about everything that she saw, it really made me stop and look at this city with new eyes. We started at the Walnut Street Bridge and made a loop. We walked from the bridge to the Tennessee Riverwalk, to the waterways around the aquarium, we pet a horse that pulls the carriages on Broad Street, and we made our way back to The Ice Cream Show.

Twila and Dru Engagement Session June 2019 Downtown Chattanooga Riverfront

I am so, so proud that Twila came to me for her engagement pictures. She and Dru needed engagement photos and they needed them quickly. They had one day available before they leave to go get married. We had a whirlwind of a day considering we started with a 90% chance of rain, which slowly diminished as the day went on. Eventually we were still able to shoot, and even caught a few in the rain.
